· All questions are compulsory.
· Adhere to world limits wherever specified.
· Draw neat and well labelled diagrams. No beautification required.
· Don’t use colour pens only pencil colour if you are an extraordinary student.
· Try to finish all questions within 2 hours in written.
· Answers will be reviewed every day at 9 pm.
Q:- 1 What is Minor phyla? Give their significance in zoology. Briefly explain any two Minor phyla important for Human health and hygiene. (15)
Q:- 2 Why there is a need of parazoa? Briefly discuss its origin. (10)
Q:- 3 What is the status of Protozoa? Compare it with protophyta. (10)
Q:- 4 Explain the synthesis of ATP and write about Chemiosmotic theory. Explain flow of protons in mitochondria diagrammatically. (20)
Q:- 5 What is endosymbiosis? Explain its significance. With examples show mitochondria evolved through it. (20)
Q:- 6 How transport through mitochondrial membrane is mediated? Proteins transport into mitochondrial matrix why not go back to
cytosol? (15)
